I was commissioned to create a series of Australian native birds for the walls of a golf club. Each painting measured around 30–40 centimetres in height and was executed in oil, ensuring both durability and fine detail. The rendered wall surface presented a unique challenge, requiring careful technique to achieve clarity and quality. Together with the owner, we agreed in advance on the placement of each work and the bird species to be depicted. In total, twelve paintings were completed, transforming the space into a celebration of Australia’s natural beauty.
